Is Langly free?
Browsing, importing and sentence breakdowns are free — no account needed. A free account adds saving words, daily reviews and progress tracking.
Where do the materials come from?
From learners: every video and article here was imported by someone studying it, ranked by how many people finished it.
How is this different from Duolingo?
Duolingo teaches sentences written for a course. Langly helps you understand the real videos and articles you already want to watch and read — and remember what you find in them.
Do I need some of the language already?
No — materials are graded from Super beginner to Advanced, and Super beginner assumes very little.
Can I export my words to Anki?
Yes — the words you save export from the Review page as a TSV file ready for Anki's importer, with customizable card templates. Your words are never locked in.
